Also known as Gig-E, Gigabit Ethernet is an ultra high capacity IP transit service offered by way of a fiber-optic cable that serves as the backbone of the communication link between the carrier and end-user. The name refers to the capacity of the link, which is upwards of 1000 Megabytes (or one Gigabyte) per second.
Metro Fiber Ethernet
Also called Metro-E is a high-capacity broadband service offered to businesses using a fiber-optic cable for transit between carrier and network.
Ethernet Over Copper (EOC)
This service offers businesses in the United States a symmetric broadband connection to the internet, and/or to a carrier backbone network, at speeds from 2.0Mbps to 75Mbps. Unlike other solutions widely available EoC has a variable reach; the closer a customer is to the carrier's office the faster the connection capability and broadband speeds.
Ethernet Over Ds1 (EODS1)
Ethernet internet connectivity with T1 availability and reliability. EoDS1 installs DS1 loops and special equipment to deliver Ethernet service to your location without distance or building restrictions. These cost less per meg than traditional bonded circuits while delivery improved reliability and faster speeds.

Business Cable Internet
What once started as a simple service to residential and small business customers to carry television signals, cable providers have been able to evolve to service small to large enterprise businesses for more than just their TV needs.
