Business Internet

BLURB OF TEXT.

Gigabit Ethernet
Also known as Gig-E, Gigabit Ethernet is an ultra high capacity IP transit service offered by way of a fiber-optic cable that serves as the backbone of the communication link between the carrier and end-user. The name refers to the capacity of the link, which is upwards of 1000 Megabytes (or one Gigabyte) per second.

Metro Fiber Ethernet
Also called Metro-E is a high-capacity broadband service offered to businesses using a fiber-optic cable for transit between carrier and network.

Ethernet Over Copper (EOC)
This service offers businesses in the United States a symmetric broadband connection to the internet, and/or to a carrier backbone network, at speeds from 2.0Mbps to 75Mbps. Unlike other solutions widely available EoC has a variable reach; the closer a customer is to the carrier's office the faster the connection capability and broadband speeds.

Ethernet Over Ds1 (EODS1)
Ethernet internet connectivity with T1 availability and reliability. EoDS1 installs DS1 loops and special equipment to deliver Ethernet service to your location without distance or building restrictions. These cost less per meg than traditional bonded circuits while delivery improved reliability and faster speeds.

Business DSL
A Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is a type of high speed internet that uses the same copper phone wires that your telephone uses. This makes it available in most areas, since the infrastructure is already in place.

Business Cable Internet
What once started as a simple service to residential and small business customers to carry television signals, cable providers have been able to evolve to service small to large enterprise businesses for more than just their TV needs. Cable internet providers can now offer internet access, transit and peering, domain name registration and hosting, voice services, and phone services on top of the original television fuctions.

Satellite Internet
A service that delivers broadband internet service through radio waves instead of a cable in the ground. While speeds will vary between different providers, they normally have a maximum of 15Mbps download speed.

International DIA
Dedicated Internet Access allows you to have a dedicated connection to the internet. Expanding the business experience internationally by creating business internet opportunities for everyone.

T1 Internet
These lines usually consist of copper wire, but recently have been modified to include optical and wireless media. A stand alone data T1 can carry 24 digitized voice channels and data at the speed of 1.544 megabits per second. Bonded T1 circuits providing up to four single 1.5Mbps circuits acting as one to achieve speeds up to 12Mbps, are also an option.

Wireless Cellular Internet
Whether you're looking for wireless solutions to connect to a mobile network, manage your wireless devices, or add redundancy, wireless cellular internet can give you reach beyond cable or DSL.
